Crown Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah of Brunei welcomed Saudi Ambassador Saleh bin Abdulkarim Al-Shiha in a formal reception as the latter assumed his new diplomatic role in the nation. This meeting was a part of the ceremonies held for newly appointed ambassadors in Brunei.
In their discussions, the Crown Prince and Ambassador Al-Shiha focused on the state of bilateral relations between Brunei and Saudi Arabia. They explored various avenues to enhance cooperation between the two countries, a priority highlighted by the Saudi Embassy.
On a different front, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of National Guard, Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, conducted an evaluation of the military preparedness of the National Guard forces. These forces are crucial to the operations during this year’s Hajj mission, ensuring the safety and security of pilgrims.
Prince Abdullah also took the opportunity to inspect a military parade showcasing the units dedicated to supporting the pilgrimage’s security. Their role is vital during the annual event, which sees millions of pilgrims gather, necessitating stringent safety measures.
